Design iterative workflows with automatic retry

Feedback Loops

Feedback loops let a reviewer agent send work back for revision until it meets quality standards.

How It Works

[Writer] ──→ [Reviewer] ──→ APPROVED? ──→ Continue
                              │
└── NO ──→ Back to Writer (retry)
  1. Writer creates output
  2. Reviewer checks it
  3. If not approved, Writer gets feedback and tries again
  4. Repeats until approved or max retries reached

Setting Up

  1. Create two agents (e.g., Writer and Reviewer)
  2. Connect Writer → Reviewer
  3. Click on Reviewer
  4. Enable "Evaluator & Feedback Provider"
  5. Set Max Retries (recommend: 3)
  6. Select Target Agent: Writer

Tips

  • Set reasonable retry limits (2-3 is usually enough)
  • More retries = more token usage
  • If it keeps failing, the task may be too complex - try breaking it down
